With the summer fast approaching many penultimate year students will be heading off on various internships. For many of those students they are hoping that the internship will open the door to a full time role post graduation. LinkedIn, in a recent blog post, analysed the number of interns who return to their summer employer post graduation and it makes for some very interesting reading. Accounting comes out on top from an industry analysis with 31% of interns returning to the company in a full time role.
